backplane speed

Hi,


Please let me know is there any show command which will help to get the backplane speed of switch 6509 with sup 720.

If there is no show command please provide a link for that.


Also what exactly the command "sh fabric status " shows.

Is the command dispalys the Supervisor fabric capacity ?


If there is no Switch fabric Module installed in the switch will the command have any output.

All sup 720's have a built in fabric module I believe so that should be a valid command.

The potential backplane speed in a 6509 running Sup720 can be up 360Gbps (720Gbps full-duplex 'marketing').


The modules installed in the switch play a big role in achieving the speed.
