Our customer bought 10 Mbps Metro Ethernet services from the SP on a Gigabit Ethernet port and they are running into issues when they try shaping the Gigabit Ethernet port to 10Mbps.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem ?
Any feedback would be appreciated

The regular 3750 switch support SRR Shaping, please follow the documentation:
If you have the 3750 Metro, then you can configure hierarchical QoS

Thanks Edison for your response. I looked at these configuration documents. Actually the Customer is seeing a specific problem where on a 1000 Mbps port he is able to shape to say 100/ 500 Mbps but when he tries to shape that port to very low values like -- 10 Mbps etc that he is running into issues.
I was wondering if there is a lower limit on a Gig pot to what value can it be shaped

Normal 3750 ports only support shaping in tiers (multiples of 6?), although the shape command allows 1% increments. I.e. you can't actually obtain the exact percentage you shape for.
If possible, hard code the port for 10 or 100, and then shape.
