Hi!
Just a recurrent question to all related to the Advice of Charge information ... ;-)
Do you know if there is now the possibility to display the ISDN Advice of Charge information on the IP-Phone display during an outgoing call on the PSTN? This feature is every time asked from our customers in Switzerland and for years we are looking for a solution....
One of our current prospects has defined this feature as a mandatory requirement and we don't want to miss this interesting opportunity just because of this not supported Advice of Charge feature. Does one of you know a solution?
That's a trace of the information we are receiving from the ISDN
provider: we just need to display this ISDN "Display i = 'FR. 0.10'"
Facility information on the IP-Phone each time it has been updated from the provider. Could it be possible to use a TCL script or something similar?

Hey,
CUCM supports displaying AOC with MGCP gateways, as long as the PSTN actually sends the actual amount (as in your case) and not units.
Are you using H.323 or MGCP GWs?
Cheers,
Tolga

Hey Tolga,
Many thanks for your answer. Yes I will use MGCP if this AOC feature is supported. But we tested it and only the first Facility Information announcement is displayed on the CP-79XX display but any other update is transmitted... As long as heard and read... this AOC feature is not supported by the CUCM and is not planned to be supported in the current development roadmap... I think that only European customers and integrators need it and unfortunately Europe is not the center of the world for Cisco UC Business Unit... :-(
If you have more details regarding roadmaps and the support of this feature, many thanks in advance to transmit them to me.
Kind Regards
Marco
