Recordin Agent Calls with 7941G

Hi there !

I need some help to record voice calls using CAD + 7941G

The call seems to be recorded... but I can hear no sound (played in Supervisor)

All I configured was "SPAN to PC port" in 7941G configuration...

Do I need to configure anything else ?

Any configuration guide about that ?

Does recording work with any other phone? I've had no problems monitoring a 7941G phone, so if it works with other phones and not this one, I would double check the PC it is connected to, make sure the NIC can span to the data vlan.

recording works with IPCommunicators... now we're testing recording with the 7941G...

If recoring works with CIPC, can I think that the NIC can span to data vlan ?

No, I would not assume that. There are ways to test if the NIC works fine in the CAD documentation. Check that to see if the NIC is supported. What type is it? I've had generally good luck with Intel and Broadcomm chipsets.
