Shared Primary lines for UC500

I'm having an issue that the UC500 will not allow a user to share there first line, it will not let me setup there first line with a number that is already in use, I can do it for the second line but not the first. Reason, customer has 7971 phone and wants IPCOM with exact line setting, I can do it from CUE Admin page but not Cisco Configuration Assistant. When I set this up in CUE Admin page then come back in the Configuration Assistant is will not let me let me save any voice changes without changing the shared first line.

Make sense? Any thoughts?

yes, that is WAD (working as designed)

shared lines are only supported on 2nd line on different devices, 1st line is always primary line and cannot be used on more than 1 device using same DN and partition
