We have a call center on Soft phones and we are getting intermitted rebooting and one way audio and poor voice quality. CM 6.1, Will adding QoS on port where the soft phone will this help on layer 2?
Customer has 60 SIP trunks without Qos.

This might also be a bandwidth issue. Do not set the bandwidth too low. Any traffic for the queue that exceeds the bandwidth is dropped. Although voice traffic typically uses 24 kbps, there is occasional overhead requiring 25 kbps service. If you select a bandwidth percentage that equates to 24 kbps, the interface is likely to drop voice packets occasionally, which will give you poor voice quality.
You can configure advanced QOS on 3750G POE.
