2960 Model Sw with Part no: WS-C2960-24TC-L has an error.....

Dear All,

I have configured and installed one 2960 Switch part no WS-C2960-24TC-L with GLC-FE-100FX SFP module for MM fiber cable and 2912XL SW on other end.

Now Switch is working fine but continuosly sending log of duplex mismatch. I can not set duples or speed on this port ( port with this SFP module.

So pls suggest me the work around

Hi Dipesh,

You cannot set duplex setting in SFP ports,try to configure nonnegotiate on both the end of the SFP.

At Oct 20 13:50:20 , I have configured as below on 2960 and on 2912 there is no option.

interface GigabitEthernet0/1

switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,29

switchport mode trunk

switchport nonegotiate

udld port aggressive

end

but than also yet the same logs continue ......

You can see in logs after 13:50 .....

pls suggest me what to do now.
