We have enabled Extension mobility , want to enable user profile based CSS so that mulitple users can access a phone with different profiles (call restriction) How can we enable this ???

Hi,
In the device profile for each user, select the directory number and a few rows down you can configure the CCS on the line level (more specific). You do not need to configure it on the physical phone.

We did the same , but it is again device specific not user specific. We r using CMBE6.1 .

assuming you have 1:1 relation between device profile and user then configure the CSS on the line from the device profile. CSS cannot be assigned to a user, only devices and lines

Please also make sure that you test if a phone has not got a CSS assigned to in it's logged off state that prevents any outgoing calls.
Using the latest FW (8.4.1) on a CallManager running 4.1.3 actually ingores the CSS setting when dialing in on hook mode !
