Urgent - upgrade DRAM

I am in the process of upgrading the RAM on a at Cat 6509. I have replaed the DRAM as instructed but doing show version still shows the same old value

I am upgrading from 128M to 512M. I need it to be 512M so that it can take a new card

cisco WS-C6509 (R7000) processor (revision 3.0) with 112640K/18432K bytes of memory.

Processor board ID SAL0720D9PF

R7000 CPU at 300Mhz, Implementation 39, Rev 3.3, 256KB L2, 1024KB L3 Cache

Last reset from power-on

X.25 software, Version 3.0.0.

Bridging software.

1 Virtual Ethernet/IEEE 802.3 interface(s)

288 FastEthernet/IEEE 802.3 interface(s)

4 Gigabit Ethernet/IEEE 802.3 interface(s)

381K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.

32768K bytes of Flash internal SIMM (Sector size 512K).

Standby is up

Standby has 112640K/18432K bytes of memory.

Configuration register is 0x2102

Where should it show the 512M?

It should show on this line:

cisco WS-C6509 (R7000) processor (revision 3.0) with 112640K/18432K bytes of memory.

And you still have 128MB
