Trunking between Router 2612 and Switch 2950

I'm trying to trunk my Switch2950 to Router2612 Fastethernet interface, the encapsulation commands on the switch work, but when I try to

Int Fastethernet 0/0.1 on the Router

- there is no "encapsulation " command for each VLAN, The IOS is 12.2 ... it should be fine.

I'm trying to pass my CCNA and don't know why I'm not getting into the right config. If someone could help post something. Thanks.

12.2?

You need 12.3 for 802.1q Vlan trunking in 2600 routers.

Please upgrade the code.
