Hi,

The scenario I have is that I have the CE routers connecting to my core routers.

The devices are running EIGRP.

It looks like this :-

CE1 CE2

\ /

\/

/ \

/ \

\

CR1 CR2

My core routers, CR1 and CR2 does not have a default routes injected to it.

How do I get my Core routers to have default routes advertised by EIGRP to it ?

Thank you,

Cheers,

Hello!

On your CE router, on the interface towards core router, do the following:

ip summary-address eigrp 100 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0

* 100 from the line above is the eigrp autonomous system number is just for example; you shoul use yours.

In this way the default route will be injected only towards core routers and not in other direction.

Good luck!

Cheers,

Calin
