You should start with the following:

- Concurrent TCP Connections (can be associated with user count)

- WAN Bandwidth

- Features Desired

- HA Requirements

Each WAE model has a target WAN bandwidth it is appropriate for. Your account SE can provide an easy-to-use sizing tool to assist with the exercise.
