Anyone know how setup IP accounting so that
the counter will NOT reset after reaching
4GB in throughput:
C7140>sh ip accounting | i 98.174.21.134
98.174.21.134 10.109.114.9 2625507 113118188
10.109.114.9 98.174.21.134 9013383 4224940020
C7140>
Then the counter immediately resets back
to zero. I think this happens because
it is a 32 bits counter.
Is there anyway I can make it a 64-bits
counter? IOS version is
c7100-jo3s-mz.123-12e.bin
Anyone? Thanks in advance.

we often recommend using NetFlow instead.

Andrew,
That's exactly what I am getting. How do I
scale this beyond 4294967295?
I also use NetFlow. In fact, I use NetQoS
but that's another topic for another day.
