SSL VPN certificate

Hi All,

I have set up a ssl vpn test account and installed a cert on my asa 5510. when i go to the webpage i get the logon screen and then immeadiately after i log in i get a screen saying certificate validation failure. when I click the cert, it is says it is valid. someone have any ideas?

it depends on who has certified that the certifiate is vald, Root Certificate Authorities.

It could aslo be a date/time issue - is the date your cert valid from and to in effect now?

Also the Name and or IP address of the ASA - do they match in the cert?

OK - the issue is the certificate is a "self signed cert" so it cannot be validated against the root certificate authorities.
