You didn't mention what platform you are using. Have you checked to see if there is a Field Notice for this issue on the hardware?
Does the hardware support provisioning of CRC size, as there might be a mismatch? Do you see any other errors? Have you tried to swap the fibers to see if the error follows the fiber link?
