WLSE vs WCS - Guest Authentication

Unanswered Question

Hi

Does both do Guest authentication?

If Cisco Wireless LAN Solution Engine (WLSE) can do Guest, Does it require other devices to work with it? or standalone?

If Cisco Wireless Control System (WCS) can do Guest, Does it require other devices to work with it? or standalone?

What are the difference between WLSE vs WCS?

I have this problem too.

WLSE is a management solution that manages IOS based access points. It can push configs to the AP's, update the IOS software. It manages the AP's via SNMP.

WCS manages wireless controllers, which manage LWAPP access points. It does have a guest feature built in and it works quite well.

I am in the middle of a migration from Autonomous (WLSE) to LWAPP (WCS).
