Ok, I have the Cisco TSP installed and working. I can dial internal extensions great. But, as expected, im running into difficulties dialling out.

Obviously my issue is that my contacts all dont have 9 at the start of them, but when I try to dial out, it fails.

How do you guys normally get around this

This has probaly been asked before. I have vista on my client and want to set up dial from outlook.

Last time I tried the Cisco TSP did not work.

Is thre on that will now for vista?

CCM 413

Outlook 2007

Vista support was first introduced in UCM 6.1(2). You will need to upgrade.

Hi Randy,

Here is an application that will work for 4.x, both Free and Paid versions available.

Good Luck,

Take a look in your Phone and Modem properties in Windows. The dialing location should have options like "To access an outside line for local | long distance calls; dial:" Fill in the fields and you should be good.

If this is any help to you I've attached the relevant guide for v4.x?

Take a look at this new ClickToCall widget from Cisco downloadbale for free. I've tested it and works great for almost all Office applications and browsers.

HTH,

Chris,

Will these work for CCM 4.1.3?

Randy

Actaully NO, it will only work with CM 6 and 7.

Can Click-to-Call be configured to add a 9 to numbers on webpages when it doesn't have the +44?

Rich

I think that would be an application dialing rule. For example, if you were using the click to call widget and the phone number was 14085551212, the application dialing rule you define could add 9 to it. Then your RP will work for outbound pstn.

Hi,

I've tried setting up a dial rule to add 9 but still getting message "Destination Unreachable" but I can dial it when I use Dial with Edit and add the 9 manually. What would the dial rule need to look like?

eg

01234 567891

Tried Prefix with 9 and Number of digits 11-no joy :(
