I selected 'g711 prompt set' while Unity installation but Unity accepts both codec types (g711 and g729) for the call from other region.
I wonder why Unity accepts g729 call without utilizing external transcoder even I choose g711 while installation.
Is the Unity server supports both codec types by default which is similar to the Unity connection's port codec advertizing?
How to forced set the Unity server to g711 only to utilize external transcoder?
Thanks in advance,

go to the tools depot and look for the advanced settings, see what you have under "Enable G729"

All the codec setting does is determine how Unity stores the messages. It transcodes itself and does not use external transcoders.
