Clear Missed Call

I have a CME 7.0.(0) and I have configured hunt-group in this way:

!

voice hunt-group 1 parallel

final 200

list 12,13,14,16,15

timeout 60

pilot 5555

!

When the call come all phone in the list ring. If one pick-up the call on the other the Missed Call message remain even if the call was answered from one of the phone in the group.

Does someone know how to avoid Missed call message if one of the group answer ?

Hi Helenio,

Sadly this behaviour with the "Missed Calls" cannot be changed. This Call History is automatically stored on the phone anytime a call is presented to it (even momentarily). So because the Parallel Hunt presents the new call to all member phones even for a second or two the Missed Call History for this call is already stored on the IP Phone.

Hope this helps!

As workaround to have the same foncionality, i think I can use pickup-group functionality.

But I have a question on pickup-group. Phones on the same group as the one that is ringing will have a notification (ring, diplay message) about the fact that a phone on the pickup-group is ringing ? Does this nothification will remain in the missed call ? .. Thank in advance ...

Hi Helenio,

The feature "Call Pickup Notification" is avaiable in CCM 4.2 and 6.x trains not in any CME release as of yet, so the other member phones will not be notified. They would have to hear the audible ringing;

Call Pickup Notification

This new feature allows users to receive an audio and/or visual alert when a call rings on a phone in pickup groups in which they are a member. For multiple line phones, the alert is available for pickup groups associated with the primary line only.

You can configure the following notification parameters in the Call Pickup Group Configuration window:

Type of notification (audio, visual, both, or neither)

Content of the visual notification message (called party identification, calling party identification, both, or neither)

Number of seconds delay between the time the call comes into the original called party and the notification to the rest of the call pickup group members

From this 4.2.1 doc;

Hope this helps! I know its not the answer you were looking for :(
