Urgent - Which DRAM do I need?

I need some help and clarification on this issue. I am in the process of upgrading the IOS on a

Switch from Upgrading of the IOS from c6sup22-psv-mz.121-19.E1a.bin to 12.2(18)SXD7b c6k222-ps-mz.12.2-18.SXD7b.

The show version gives the following

The Cisco Websites says I need the following for the upgrade

Do I have enough DRAM and if I dont what do I need?

Hi, you do no have the DRAM required, you currently have 128 Megs shown in the show version output of 112640K/18432K bytes of memory

You need 256 DRAM

So which one do I purchase

MEM-MSFC2-512M or MEM-S2-512M.

We have a Supervisor 2 / MSFC 2 card running native IOS.

If I do a remote switch command on the same show version I get the folloiwng

Thank you. I got this email from Cisco.

..........It looks to me like you were trying to install sup memory instead of MSFC memory. MEM-S2-512MB is memory for the supervisor and MEM-MSFC2-512MB= is the memory for the MSFC. They aren't interchangeable. Here's a link regarding the MSFC memory installation.

But, if you have MEM-S2-512MB and not MEM-MSFC2-512MB=, you won't be able to upgrade to get the new IOS installed. ............

What does this mean, as this is now confusing.

My thots were that all I need was MEM-S"-512M but when this was written to me from Cisco, it kind of confused me.

You need the MSFC memory upgrade (MEM-MSFC2-512MB=) because you are running the switch in native mode, not hybrid (switch + router).

In native mode the "switch" is running IOS from the MSFC.

In hybrid mode the sup runs CatOS and the MSFC IOS.
