Cisco VPN client stops PowerBuilder from working

I have a problem with the Cisco VPN. I run some software on my laptop called Powerbuilder. It is a programming language. It is licensed on the host id of the machine. When you install the Cisco VPN it gives you a new host id so Powerbuilder doesn't work. Is there is a way round this ?

This is most probably because of the VPN Client's Virtual Adaptor. Does the software not let you select the NIC to pick the appropriate MAC?

You can also have a look at 'SMAC', it lets you change the MAC address of your network cards.
