I'm trying to modify incoming EIGRP metrics for a few networks. Below is a snippet from the config and the partial results of a "sh ip route"

!

router eigrp 1

passive-interface default

no passive-interface Vlan1

no passive-interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1

no passive-interface GigabitEthernet1/0/2

offset-list 5 in 100 GigabitEthernet1/0/1

network 10.0.0.0

network 192.0.15.0

no auto-summary

!

!

access-list 5 permit 10.1.0.0 0.0.255.255

!

sh ip route

D EX 10.200.210.1/32

[170/53760] via 10.0.0.1, 00:02:23, GigabitEthernet1/0/1

The route metric to 10.200.210.1/32 remains at 53760 with or without the offset-list.

What am I doing wrong??

Nevermind :(

I see the problem

I kept looking at the wrong route (10.200.210.1, not 10.1.0.0)....

Glad you found the problem, but I have to say that that was about the most bizarre posting I have ever seen. :-)
