Yes that will show it . Also if its a 720 or 6500 with switch fabric module and fabric enable cards you can use show fabric utilization to see what is going on .

Hi,
I am running IOS 12.2(33)SXH2a on my 6509 switches and need to be able to see the backplane utilization. However, with IOS 12.2(33)SXH2a, I am not able to execute the "show system" or "show catalyst6000 traffic-meter" commands to backplane utilization.
CORE_1#sh catalyst6000 traffic-meter
This Supervisor hardware revision has no support for traffic meter feature.
CORE_1#sh system

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
What command can I use to display the backplane utilization for a 6509 running on IOS 12.2(33)SXH2a?
thx,
David
