Hello, I need to shutdown the call manager remotely from another server (to send the command). I want to configure my ups when there is an electricity problem to send the shutdown command to the call manager.
I was thinking to create a batch file on my ipcc server to shutdown remotely the call manger servers.
The call managers are not joined to the domain. Is there any way to input the username and password on the batch file ? Can you please give me an example how this batch file should be ?
Thank you in advance...

CM 6.1 is not a windows machine, you can shut it down with access to SSH CLI and then issue:
"utils system shutdown"

Can this not be achieved through the gui frontend (6.1)?

found it.
log into OS admin.
-> settings
-> version
-> shutdown
good one to know, but is like looking for a needle in haystack through the heaps of documentation.
