I am planning to buy a server to install CCM 4.X and after seeing the posts from most of the members who had troubles on non approved hardware decided to go for approved server models. And had a doubt on it.

Only if the part number of the server should match or all the components including DVD rom, ram, HDD and other parts that are listed in the compatible server list should match according to cisco documentation. Any body has idea on this ...
