LMS 3.1 + Radius Implementation

I am already using Radius to authenticate to my switches, but now I am trying to use Radius to control access to LMS.

For some reason, my computer keeps wanting to use PAP authentication, but I'd like to use CHAPv2 or MD5.

I'm not seeing a whole lot of documentation on this. Has anyone else been through this before?

The Radius login module is fairly rigid in what can be configured. It will hash the password, secret key, and a random authenticator using MD5, then send that in an Access_Request packet to the Radius server. It expects either Access_Reject or Access_Accept back.

I'd drop back to TACACS or TACACS+ as its TCP based, not UDP.

I've heard TACACS talked about, but have never really dealt with it. Do you have any links to documentation/configuration guides that you would be willing to share?
