Hi, I have a scenario :

ip pnone---ccm---gw---pbx1---pbx2

Using a IP Phone, when i call to pbx1 it works. But if i call to pbx 2 i not ear ringback tone. In the debug isdn q931 only i see a difference in the RX <- PROGRESS. When i receive this param not ear ringback tone.

No Ringback tone issue is commonly caused when the inbound call does not come in to the Cisco gateway/ router with a PI=3. ISDN switches send the PI=3 in the Setup message to inform the gateway that the originating call is non-ISDN and in-band messages are expected.

Having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution.

Thanks,

Eric

Hi Eric,

Did you try configuring progress_ind alert enable 8 command under the POTS dial peer that matches outbound calls?

Best regards,

- Adrián.
