Hi,
How can I force a phone to download current sw in the device defaults?
I have a user having a "ring list" issue and he has down-reved sw.
I rebooted the phone but no change.
I am using ccm 4.1.3
Thanks,
Randall

Hi Randall,
That's odd isn't it?? Can you check this setting on the Device Configuration page for the phone you are having trouble with and ensure that it is blank;
Firmware Load Information (leave blank to use default)
Hope this helps!

Randal,
could you be a bit more specific what you are trying to do?
is it a single phone that you want to add a new Firmware too?
If yes,
Click on Route Plan, then choose Route Plan Report and enter your extension and click on found.
Once found click on the SEPxxxxxxxxxx (Mac of yoru Phone) and in the new window scroll down until:
Firmware Load Information (leave blank to use default)
Phone Load Name
Behind the Phone Load Name you can add the name of the new Firmware.
Example: SCCP70.8-4-1ES9S
You need to make sure that you add at least the following files (based on my example):
apps70.8-4-1ES2.sbn
cnu70.8-4-1ES2.sbn
cvm70sccp.8-4-1ES2.sbn
dsp70.8-4-1ES2.sbn
jar70sccp.8-4-1ES2.sbn
SCCP70.8-4-1SR1S.loads
Into the C:\Program Files\Cisco\TFTPPath Directory.
Feel free to get back to me if you have any more issues.
