CME CALL ON HOLD ISSUE

I have followinbg config on a phone.

When I am on one call and put the call on hold, (i have not pushed NEW CALL so second line is not invoked)

Now if someone calls me, it goes straight to voicemail which I think it wrong.

Can you tell me if this is config issue.

Phone is 7970.

Hello,

Under your ephone-dn configuration, please enter "no huntstop channel" and see if that works for you. Let us know.

But there is no hunt group...why huntstop would work?

Hi,

Try and add the no huntstop channel command under the ephone-dn.

This command is not used for hunt groups, however it tells the phone to hunt to the 2nd channel on the ip phone.

Your ephone-dn has 2 lines, or 2 channels. When one is busy, incoming calls roll over to the 2nd channel. The command helps your ccme router forward calls to the 2nd free channel
