6500 boot delay

I have a 6500 that pauses for several mintues during the boot cycle saying" Initializing ATA monitor library" I think it may be looking for boot flash that doesn't exist. The * in "show file systems" seems to be in the wrong spot (see below). Has anyone seen this before? It there somewhere I need to configure the boot devices - other than the config?
