I would like to know if someone have tested the GBics in the subject on MM Fiber cable. I'm planning to connect 2 3750s between 2 floors in the building and I only have 1 MM strand available.
There is always a risk when trying to use the wrong type of fiber. Sometimes it will work, but you end up with a high error rate. I'd be cautious putting that sort of setup in a production environment.
