Does Cisco build/offer a GBIC based transceiver form factor that plugs into a Catalyst 2950 switch that provides the same functionality as a GLC-BX-U=?
The GLC-BX-U provides transmit AND receive capability across a single fiber strand.

It looks like it is supported on the 2960, but not 2950.

I think I need to clarify.
I'm looking for a match to the Cisco part GLC-BX-U= but in a FULL SIZE GBIC form factor and not in the SFP form factor.
The GLC-BX-U= is a SFP...not a full sized GBIC.

Hi Marshal,
I don't think that 1000BASE-BX-U is available in form of GBIC. The only gbic standards which I have seen is 1000Base-T, 1000Base-SX, 1000Base-LX/LH and 1000Base-ZX.
