Dear sir,

i have asa 5505 firewall and it was configured for remote acceses vpn while connecting through the clent sftware(4.0)it was showing 404 error .iam unable to solve this problem why it was showing that error.if anybody help in this iam greatfull to him.

If you are unable to do simultaneous login from the same IP address, the Secure VPN connection terminated locally by client. "Reason 412: The remote peer is no longer responding." error message appears. Enable NAT-T in the head end VPN device in order to resolve this error.

Hi Srini,

I do not see the crypto map applied to the outside interface.

crypto map Outside_map interface outside

Also, couple of quick comments:

1. I do not see a NAT 0 command to bypass NAT for IPSEC VPN Client Traffic.

2. Also, it is recommended that you do not assign the VPN Client Pool from your LAN. It is better to assign a Pool of IP Addresses that is not part of your LAN.
