I need some advice on the use of the command ' channel-group 0 timeslots 1-31'. I am using a G.703 card.
To my understanding the above command means that there are effectively 32 channels of 64K and can be used for voice or data.
My question is that if I just want to use the total bandwidth of the E1, I should do 'channel-group <channel-group-no> unframed right ? This would effectively give me the total
bandwidth of the link.
With respect of the 'channel-group' command, if I had this for example :-
channel-group 0 timeslots 1
channel-group 8 timeslots 5,7,12-15,20 speed 64
channel-group 12 timeslots 2
What does the numbers of 0, 8 and 12 mean here ? Is it any random number that we can use here ?
