PE-CE EIGRP redistrbution to M-BGP Problem

Haris P

I'm using EIGRP as PE-CE routing protocol . Our customers are DSL's which are connecting on PE router as virtual interface .

The following is my PE config.

router eigrp 1

no auto-summary

!

address-family ipv4 vrf mpls-test

redistribute bgp 65000 metric 1000 100 255 1 1500

no auto-summary

autonomous-system 1

exit-address-family

router bgp 65000

address-family ipv4 vrf mpls-test

redistribute eigrp 1

no auto-summary

no synchronization

exit-address-family

DSL_Router1#sh ip vrf mpls-test

Name Default RD Interfaces

mpls-test 1:101 Lo3

Vi4551

On CE Router I did the basic EIGRP config , without neighbor statement as I can't do the neighbor with PPPoE Dialer interface . Is there is anyway in my case

Regards,

Haris

Hello Haris,

in the EIGRP command reference I've found this suggestion:

VMI Interface Aggregation Point

see

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/iproute/command/reference/irp_eig1.html#wp1012421

The VMI interface acts as an aggregation point for multiple PPPoE connections from one or more radios over one or more physical interfaces.

and also:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/iproute/configuration/guide/irp_cfg_eigrp_ps6922_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html#wp1054195

Hope to help

Giuseppe
