Hello

I'm working on an SSL VPN anyconnect service and our Security team are looking for the service to give VPN users the same IP everytime they login (ie VPN users will have a static IP). We have an ASA 5505 which authenticates against a Cisco ACS 4.0.

I can assign static IPs on the ACS to each user but if the ACS looses its dynamic user database we'll lose these static IP assignments. I've had a look at moving address assignment to the ASA but can't see any method of assigning statics to VPN users. Is the ACS method the only one I can use?

Thanks

Andy

You can assign IP addresses in the attributes for the user.
