I have a device that I have already configured as a source device for my IPM IPSLA,but each time I try to configure a collector, when I get to the part, I need to select my source device I don`t get to see the device I have configured as my source router device rather I get to see it under target device.

How do I get this device to appear under source device for me to use as my source router for my IPM IPSLA cpllector, someone should please help me with a detailed explanation, thanks.

Hi -

You need to make sure you have the read/write strings in your DCR for that device. Otherwise the device will just show up as a target.

Thanks for your reply.

How do I get to add the source router as a device under IPM or better still how do I get to add devices manually to IPM aPPLICATION.

You need to add the device in the DCR and include the read and write strings in order for the device to show up as a source.
