Ok I'm confused, according to the ccna syllabus hosts to hubs use a straight through cable and hosts to routers use a crossover.... so how did I yesterday manage to unplugg four hosts from a hub and plug them directly into a ISR router and it work!!!!!! very confused, I'm guessing that it's due to the router being integrated services router... but how does that work? surely a port either takes cross over or straight through, not both... or is it working but only half duplex??? anybody got any ideas???
