I'm cleaning up an environment that I inherited, and the VSAN ID's have no reasoning behind them. I'd like to clean it up, and establish a standard across all of our sites, as our next project will be FCIP. While we will be implementing IVR NAT, I'd still like to change the VSAN ID's if possible.
TIA.

G'day,
You cant really change it - simply create a new one and migrate everything over...
Depending on what type of hosts you have connected and assuming you have MPIO enabled on all attached servers you should be able to do the migration without a outage.
Cheers

inch-
That's what I've done, created a new VSAN, and copied the zone db over, and activated it, then changed port memberships to the new zone.
I was hoping there was an easy method, but since VSAN are based on physical ports, I guess this is my only choice!
Thanks for your input.
