Slow connections using Aironet 1100 AP

Hi all,

I'm a newbie in this world, and I have a problem with my AP. I suffer connection hangs up while I connected to it (pages load slow, copying files slow,...). I've tested it from diferent location and with diferent laptops and the problem is the same.

I don't know which the problem is, so all help would be appreciated.

I've attached the AP to a Cisco 877 router.

what are the speed and duplex settings from the AP to the router?

Hi,

I've configured it as Full duplex and 54Mbits. This problems is related with laptops, because actually with a PC with a wireless card, I cannot connect to the network, because I cannot see the AP.

I'm very worried with this because with my old AP (from Linksys) I can navigate without any problem.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I have observed that if I perform a ping to my ADSL router from a wireless client (my laptop), there are packets loss between my laptop and the router.

Can anybody help me with it?
