500 Errors for Campus Manager topology services

HTTP Status 500 apache tomcat/5.5.17

description: the server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request; shows after click the topology Services of a fresh install campus manager 5.1.

what could be the problem? is it a bug?

You're encountering a "Too many open files" error in Tomcat. This could be an OS limitation, or you may be exceeding the 512 allowed file descriptors for Tomcat. Please post the output of the command:

pfiles PID

Where PID is the PID of Tomcat (as obtained from pdshow).
