HI, I have 2 CAT3750's already configured in a stack. For capacity purposes, we need to another another CAT3750 to this existing stack and make sure all the vlans are available on the new switch as well. Meaning the new switch needs to be on the same VTP domain as the existing one to share the VTP database.
What is the procedure to add the new switch? Is there a need to reboot the existing switches?

No if you already have a vtp domain defined that new switch is just part of the existing stack which is from a managing point of view a single switch with multiple modules.

Make sure the new switch has the same version code as the rest of the stack . Install in rack with power off. Cable the stackwise cables per cisco specs then power on the switch . The new switch will become part of the existing stack, you can then configure the switchports to your specs . There is no need to reboot the rest of the switches.

Is there no need to configure VTP domain & VTP password & VTP mode to share the vlan database?
