Hi you all
I have this pix 6.3 with interfaces Outside and Inside using the gb-ethernet interfaces. In the Inside interface I have added virtual interfaces for comunicating with the vlan contained in a switch.
But yesterday I decided to activated a fast-ethernet interface. I actvated it & I gave it a routable Ip addres. That made the pix inacsesible in the outside interface.
via cli I shutdown the interface and removed the ip addres. the pix went to normal.
The I tried another expirience, I activated the ehternet interface but this time with a non-routable ip address. I have acces in the outside interface, so I could say it work, but I need to put a routable ip addres not a non-routable ip addres.
Wath shoul I do?
Thanks

try to put a public IP from a IP subnet other than the one being currently used on the Outside interface.

Thanks
