On the CUOM install manual there are two notices about Windows domain.

Do not install Operations Manager on:

1 - Primary Domain Controller (PDC) or Backup Domain Controller (BDC).

2 - Moving your Operations Manager server from Windows Workgroup to Domain is not supported.

Does this means that the server can not be part of a Windows Domain?

The customer wants that the CUOM server be part of a Windows domain.

I personally had already problems installing CUOM on a server part of windows domain and had to pass the server from domain to workgroup.

Look this thread:http://forum.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/NetProf?page=netprof&forum=Unified%20Communications%20and%20Video&topic=Unified%20Communications%20Applications&CommCmd=MB%3Fcmd%3Dpass_through%26location%3Doutline%40%5E1%40%40.2cc19884

For this customer I need a oficial statement about this matter.

Can anyone share experience on this matter?
