Hi Guys,
I'm trying to get my CME 7.0 system users to dial a non DN 4 digit extension and have that translated to a 7-10 digit extension. Like a customer wants to dial one of their employees that works via cell phone. They want to dial a 4 digit number and have that transfered to their 7-10 digit outside extension. This could be done via a translation pattern in CUCM but not sure how to do it in CUCME. Would a dial-peer work or number translations? If so how would they be configured?
Thank You!

One way to do this is with the "num-exp" command. So if you want to dial 1234 and translate it to 91234567, you could configure "num-exp 1234 91234567". It could also be done with a voice translation rule.
Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.
