Question, I have 2 1700 routers connected to 2 switches on each end and computers on each end. When I network OSPF, ping from one computer end to the other works fine, when I try EIGRP or RIP it's not becoming adjacent, all my masks are 255.255.255.0. Why is this happening ?

Hello Sergej,
you should provide more info to get better help.
I would suggest you to post a filtered version of the two routers configuration removing users and passwords and changing/masking the public ip addresses.
My guess is that RIP and EIGRP by default performs auto-summary at major network boundary for their distance vector nature while OSPF doesn't.
This can be a problem if you have two parts of the same major network divided by another one.
For example
10.10.10.0/24 -- R1 --- 192.168.1.0/24 --- R2 --- 10.10.20.0/24
try on rip / eigrp
router rip
version 2
no auto-summary
router eigrp xx
no auto-summary
Hope to help

RIP and EIGRP by default auto summarizes...what network are you using?

you may have to turn off auto-summary "no auto-summary"

I put no auto-summarization on, so it works fine now.
