I am getting the error not enough physical disks [0 out of 2 present]
I found this error pertaining to 5.x needing the array controller to be installed in slot 1. Well it is, and I confirm it with the bios report upon boot. I have done many things, and each time it yields the same error.
This is a lab environment, so I am able to do pretty much anything to the system with no worries about taking the system down. Please advise.

are you receiving errors when booting up?
maybe something like this??
Waiting for controller to startâ¦..controller not started
Controller #00: IBM ServerRaid 8k-l at PCI Slot :00, Bus:04, Dev:00, Func:00
if so i'd recommend you to open a TAC case, it's probable they need to replace your controller
HTH
java
if this helps, please rate

no errors at all until the very end. As I wrote before:
Error: not enough physical disks [0 out of 2 present]
The only error.
