dear


I have core switch 6513 ,distribution switches 6506 and edge switches connected with 10G multimode fiber also I have 450 ap

I need to install the two WISM in the core switches ,the management and Ap manager ip address will be on 172.137.237.x /24 , the access points on the Vlan 27 (172.137.26.X/23) ,user vlan (172.137.11.X and wireless phone in different vlan)

I will configure the edge switches port on vlan 27 and enable internal DHCP from wism

Its possible and how ? I will rank 5 stars for any useful information

The design in principle is correct, you will need to ensure that there is a way of delivering the controller IP addresses to the access point, either by dns, DHCP option 43 (not support on the internal DHCP server)or by pre staging the APs prior to deployment.


You can use the internal DHCP server for wireless clients by defining itself as the DHCP server address under interface.
