Solved: 7965 UDP not showing SURL Buttons on 7945

Hi,

I have a user with a 7965 device profile defined. The phone button template dictates button 1 for line, button 2 for a service URL (logout) and the rest of the buttons for BLF speed dials.

When logging into a 7965 this works fine. When logging into a 7945 all you get is the line - no log out button.

If i create a dummy phone button template that has button 1 as line and every other button as a service URL it still does not work. Ive tried assigning the logout SURL button to button 2-6 on the users device profile but it still will not display when this user logs into a 7945.

Any ideas how i can get the log out to display?

have you created a default device profile for 7945 so the phone button template shows that???

otherwise you will get only basic pre-defined config

No i have not.

I went to Device -> Device settings -> Default device profile.

I clicked the "standard 7945 SCCP" and changed the phone button template to one with the second button as a service URL.

This appears to have resolved my issue, thank you very much.
