Reloading IOS on 1242AG AP

I'm unable to recover the IOS on a 1242AG AP. I've followed the instruction on holding the mode button, starting a tftp server, setting the tftp server 10.0.0.2, rename file to the .default etc.. The ap connects to my tftp server, but I get file not found. Any help would be appreciated.

make sure that under the folder options on windows that the file extentions are not hidden.

tools> folder option> view

untick 'Hide extension for known file types'

then recheck the default IOS image to ensure the file extension is not repeated.
